WAG is a restaurant located on marine drive in White Rock on the beach, it has a lovely beautiful and cozy interior with stunning views where you can enjoy the sunsets in the evening. The staff are incredibly nice and very attentive, refilling your water promptly, asking if you want any other drinks and how your food is, as well as kindly take photos for you. The food is absolutely delicious, for our appetizer we ordered the smoked salmon wonton crisps and they were delicious the salmon is so fresh and the Dijon aioli on them adds a wonderful layer of flavor, for our starter we ordered the crab bisque, it's a tomatoes basil base and not only tastes wonderful but has a wonderful aroma I highly recommend, for our mains we ordered the lobster stuffed ravioli and braised lamb shank, the raviolis were nicely stuffed with loads of flavor and in a creamy roasted garlic cream sauce, the braised lamb was *chef's kiss* absolutely gorgeous the meat literally melted in your mouth served with delicious mashed potatoes, to finish off the meal our dessert we had the "Infamous" Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie and Churro Cheesecake both were absolutely decadent and rounded out the meal fantastically. Now for drinks, our first round of drinks we ordered the coconut pineapple margarita and the zero proof passion fruit margarita my girlfriend loved the coconut pineapple margarita and my drink was absolutely to die for very well made, our second round of drinks my girlfriend has the Bosses Wife and I had the bubbly sangria again very delicious and paired well with our meals. All in all of you haven't been to WAG before I hope this review urges you to go as they have a wonderful menu both food and drink, the atmosphere is elegant yet cozy and it has fantastic views.
I cannot say enough about this restaurant! Great service, great food, amazing selection, and a beautiful view! It was our first time here and it’s our 7th Anniversary. I would recommend to anyone!
I have loved the WAG for years. The environment has such a cool vibe. The menu has something for everyone on it. Nothing beats the views at sunset.
Yesterday was my first time here. There was a mishap at the beginning; no one took our order after 20 minutes of us being seated, and I had to alert the hostess. She was apologetic, as was our server. The food and drinks were delicious, and so was the view. I will definitely be back; I just hope we won't be ignored again this time.
I’ve been here many times and always recommend it to people. Really funky decor, good service, good food. If you’re there during the day you get a great view of the ocean. We had the short rib poutine to start and it was really flavourful and delicious. Loved the horseradish mayo. Stuffed chicken and lamb shank as our mains. I preferred the stuffed chicken (that is my go-to), in all honesty I think the lamb lacked salt, but it was tasty nonetheless. I would best describe the food served here as comfort food.
Exceptional service! Our server was super friendly and she was well dressed and personable. All of our food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. The place was packed! Views are beautiful. Definitely a cool vibe! Am already looking forward to coming back. Thank you!
One of my Favorite places to eat and enjoy the ocean views. The Atmosphere is wonderful. The Food is Fabulously Devine kudos to the Chef and helpers behind the scenes and the Service is always great! I highly recommend this place to everyone.
